Persist Alabama is thrilled to announce our 4th Biennial Bid on Blue Gala!

The event will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Von Braun Center — Saturn Ballroom in Huntsville, AL, and it will be even bigger and better than before with a fun-filled night of cocktails, a three-course dinner, and a live and silent auction full of incredible items—from exciting experiences and amazing art to spectacular services and phenomenal food. All auction items will be at the venue for viewing, including a handful of exclusive, premier items. Doors will open at 5:00 PM for the cocktail hour.

And as if that wasn't enough, we are thrilled to announce that one of today’s most celebrated stand-up comedians, Steve Hofstetter, will be the headliner for this year's Bid on Blue Gala!

Steve Hofstetter is a Nobel Peace Prize–nominated comedian whose sharp wit and fearless crowd work have earned him billions of views across YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. He hosted and executive-produced FOX’s Laughs, served as Senior Comedy Correspondent for Fox Sports, and has built a respected career as a writer, broadcaster, and philanthropist, supporting fellow comedians and earning widespread recognition for his charitable work.
